Lube me up?

What type of lube should I be using on a semi auto SVT and a T97? Never had a semi before and no clue what to use

The trick is the least possible... especially if you plan on shooting in our wonderful climate.... grease can get mighty stiff at -10
Second hint... clean old grease before applying new stuff.... because it stays in place, grease can hold grit and dust Not what you want in your finely tuned firearm!!

Well I've had some good experiences using TW-25B grease on my guns. Though a lot of that is for storage so I can rest easy withot worrying that they're rusting if I don't inspect them every week, and I'll assess whether or not it needs to be removed and replaced with an oil lube. Grease can get mighty thick like tar once it gets cold.

At various times I use CLP, RIG spray-on lube, and TW-25B. Depends on the circumstances.

I've been leary of greases in semi's as in my experience in can slow down the action. You gotta be careful not to use too much.

My preference is now for either slide glide or Lubriplate SLF-0. Lubriplate is actually a food safe lubricant, but based on some analysis I read from a specialist, it seems ideally suited for firearms.

What is so amazing about Frog Lube? Not a criticism, truly curious... I've heard of it quite a lot, but can't imagine what makes it any better than standard lubrication.
