Lubrication for a Cerakote Finish

I just received my Colt M45a1 and I'm not sure what to do about lubrication? Does the Cerakote even need lubrication?

Any advise or opinions are appreciated.

Treat it just like any other firearm, shoot, clean, lube repeat, when in doubt follow the instruction manual, in my opinion I would lube it like any other 1911.
