Hey guys and gals!

Does anyone have a Luclnik 88 air rifle and if so what do you think of yours? I really like mine, it was given to me from a friend and I think it's great! I have found out though, you need a good scope because the cheap scopes get beat up from the spring action! I'm also curious as to what the fps is......

Also does anyone know where I might be able to get a manual for my rifle?

Any help is greatly appreciated

keep in mind that you cannot use a regular scope on an air rifled, they have a opposite recoil from rifle, you an buy air rifle scopes and those should not break on you from the recoil.

Where do you get these? KD

I'm not sure on a retailer, but I will ask him next time I talk to him. I will see if I can drum up a picture of it for ya's. It got a good rating when it came out, 8.5 out of 10 ain't bad and they claim it's good enough to take down rabbits at 50yrds!

you mean LUCZNIK???

if so I have one, and want to buy another one, especially if its new... Mine is a 1972, and was bought at canadian tire back then.. Mine chronograped in the 600fps range, but thats with ALOT of shots through it...

I'd definitly like to know where to buy another one

Sounds like the one I had. Bought it for around $30 in 1972 or '73 from a "Woolco" department store. The thing was quite the air rifle and, while it never got chrono'd, it would kill crows and magpies like nobody's business.

Unfortunately, I took the air rifle in for a check-up to the local air gun specialty store about ten years ago where it literally got lost after the owner passed away.

After repeatedly promising to finish the work and return, it his son finally admitted that he had no idea where the thing got put away (figured it was buried in a container with a bunch of other stuff). What a waste.

Yeah, it would be nice to find another one like it.

It looked like a "L" instead of a "Z" but now you brought that tom my attention, it does look like a "Z". I like it alot, just replaced the sealing ring between the barrel and the air chamber. Works great!!
