Hello all,
I have a line on a Sauer M30 Luftwaffe Drilling.
That is, the Nazi fighter pilot survival rifle.
It is in very good condition. Complete with original case, test target, manual ect.
I am considering buying it as an investment. Does any one on here have any knowledge on what the going Canadian rate on one of these is? I know they sell on gunbroker into the 30-32k range for one in the same condition as the one I am looking at. I realize this has nothing to do with the real Canadian value.
So what is the real worth of one of these? I have been told everywhere between 15 and 40k. My thought is somewhere in the 22-25 range.
Thoughts?

Here is what Im talking about for those interested! (Not THIS one, but its sister)

Did it just go through the paris auction recently ?? or am I thinking of a different one. A combo gun in an aluminum looking case? If so, there was a post about this already somewhere here...

Wow that was fast! Same model. Totally different gun.
This one is all original.
The cracked stock and the fact that it was drilled and tapped destroyed the value on this example. (I did see it though!)

There was one in Camrose,Ab about 15 yrs ago. He then moved North. It was in ex. condition when he got it but when he wanted to sell it was scratched dented and a sorry sight. He wanted 5000 back then & I don't think he got it. Good luck they are nice & should be fun. (some people should not have nice things)
