The German code “jhv” 43 is for Metallwaren, waffen und Machinefabrik AG, Budapest, Hungary produced in 1943.

Two matching magazines which is somewhat rare as they stopped markings the magazines shortly after the First Contract for the jhv41 pistols.

The holster markings “jsd” 1942 with Luftwaffe acceptance stamp Eagle over L2.
Ink markings inside the flap “Nur fur Pistole 37 M (Ung.) Kal. 7.65 m/m”
“jsd” code is for Gustav Reinhardt, Lederwarenfabrik, Berlin

E/WaA173 German inspection stamp on the left trigger guard web.

The jhv 43 Variation left slide legend reads “P.Mod.37, Kal.7.65.
Estimated production was approx.30,000 with serial number ranges from 50,000 to 80,000.

Cool, I had one of those while a student in the US. Lots of fun, but the very worst trigger I think I have ever encountered. Blasting coke cans in the back 40 was nice, too. Really too bad we can't have them here (or use them like that!). It is amazing you've got both matching mags, it's rare to see them with one! Nice piece, I am jealous.
 
That, sir, is a lovely set. When I bought mine I didn't get all the goodies. They don't turn up often and are a very solid pistol. Mine shoots well if you are able to handle the approximately 50 lb trigger pull.
