I really really want one of these, but not for 5 grand. Anyone know if there is a cheaper alternative, ie aftermarket, repro etc? Thanks

Post a "want to buy" in the EE Handgun section. There are many "shooter" artillery lugers out there that have the factory barrel. There are also some prohib's that have had the barrel replaced for sale.
You are probably going to pay in the region of about C$1000.00. Are you still interested?

I'd be going quite a bit north of that number. Even for a shooter grade mismatch.

Go out to Pullen's first thing on Fri am. Canvas some of the old fart regulars. One of them likely will be able to put you onto a long barreled Luger with shoulder stock.

Loki has a very nice one I traded to him. Search the EE. It has a shoulder stock/holster. (Repro)
