Luger question

Original WWI or WWII Luger pistol magazine follower button. Does it unscrew or needs to be pushed (punched) to be separated from follower?

It's not meant to be disassembled unless you want to bugger it up. If you need to clean it try brake fluid cleaner.

The follower button is pressed into the follower. Remove the magazine base and spring. Position the follower so that you can see the opposite side of the button through the disassembly hole in the magazine body. Drive the button out. TAKE YOUR TIME. USE PROPER TOOLS. SUPPORT MAGAZINE. GOOD LUCK!
