not sure if I'm in the right section but...

I would like to have some feedback about that kit, looks like I just order one today !!

I'm planning to do a bedding with Devcon on my Tikka T3 lite

any input will be apreciated

I have bedded 6 Tikka's, using a SS recoil lug - i bedded the lug direct to the stock. It made a huge diff in the heavy recoiling rifles (300 wsm, 338) and a noticeable diff in 338f, 7-08, and 223. It definitely helped with consistency, as my T3's had a bit of slop once the action screws were loose. Never had a problem with the devcon not sticking, but i roughed up/drilled the area for some mechanical grip.
I dont know why this isnt done more, imho the T3 is one rifle that really needs it, as well as a SS or Ti recoil lug. Just have a look at the stock lug after a few rounds of any magnum chambering - they get peened right away.

I bought the SS recoil from HSS in Australia for T3 tac 300wm and its been holding up great. No marks at all. The aluminum one from the factory quickly dented and my groups had started to open up but all is well with the new SS one. If you have a T3 in a caliber larger than 308 and you are going for precision I think the upgraded recoil lug is a must. Mine was only $30.
I wasn't aware of Lumley Arms until now, but it seems like they have some great stuff. I think they're the only ones supplying a stainless bottom metal which is awesome.
It's great to see more aftermarket for the Tikka!

thanks guys, I will do the job after hunting season, I let you know how it turn out.

my rifle is chambered in 6.5x55 by the way.
