The Neostead shotty is legal (although about $1600USD) in Canada. I have the FRT # for it.

SP89 is prohib, does the maker call it an SP89 clone? The gun pictured is somewhat different from an HK SP89.

It's a Lusa, only made in the US now. It borrowed the H&K trigger group, but the rest of the gun was proprietary.

Yes, the gun is legal for Canada.

We have import permits for them. The issue is US State Department. We have had a deal in place with LUSA USA for almost a year now... everything in place to bring two specifcially made for Canada models including a non-restricted version. US State Department has repeatedly rejected our applications for Export Permit.

At this point LUSA themselves have gotten their lawyers involved and they are trying to overturn the State Department ruling... it will be interesting to see if they make any headway.

If we get the okay we'll have these for sale here in Canada.

Our guess originally was @ $1,399.00 to $1,599.00

There would be a non-restricted 18.5" Rifle version and a "restricted" Pistol version with I believe a 6" barrel and no stock.

I handled the rifle version. It is neat. The stock slide out and then down. The cocking handles are on both sides like the Skorpion. It has a fake can. The weird thing is that the magazine well is as long as the magazine. This is a good design for reliability, but probably slow to reload. Still, with the strong dollar, I'd buy one.

Not in a million years would that thing ever cross the door of my vault, that is one screwed up looking design. It's nothing more than a bastardized HK Klone receiver with some junk thrown onto it, over $1000.00 for that!!! No way.
