Anyone know if there are any LWRC dealers/importers in Canada? Have contacted LWRC several times via email but have had no responses. Thanks.

There was a guy on the LWRC forum that was getting one(in Canada), however he failed to identify who was the importer?

M6a2 in Canada
Well its been 10 months but there is light at the end of the tunnel
I have been told that in late Jan or Feb I should have what may be the first
m6a2 in Ontario if not Canada. I have ordered it with the 12.7 barrel.
I'm pump to put it up against the venerable c8 carbine.

Ill let you know what happens.

You won't get them right now, as the US Department of State currently won't allow firearms marked as 5.56mm, or 7.62mm through the gates. If you still want to try, contact an importer like Dave's to see if it's possible.

You won't get a LWRC lower (what I have heard) since they are low shelf lowers that have the ability to accept an auto sear and currently listed as Prohib by the CFC. Uppers on the other hand can be brought in if they meet US DOS criteria.

You should have mentioned you have one for sale, that is if you will part out the upper?
Maybe buddy would be interested? IMO the upper is the more valuable part.

Questar is selling Spikes Tactical lowers that are low shelf and can accept the RDIAS. I dont think that is the reason.

A quote from buddy that runs the show over at LWRC
State Department denied the export license. Even though legal in Canada, the State Department considers it a non-sporting weapon.

This is why we have never exported anything for commercial sales anywhere.

Tried importing an LWRC REPR. DOS denied it even though approved for import by Canada.

Doesn't LWRC use Adams Arms parts to build their rifles?
If so could a LWRC clone be built by those means?

I thought we could purchase Adams Arms parts up here...

That seems like a bit of a :jerkit: statement , "there not sporting rifles so we not exporting them" .. maybe they have an obscured idea of what the word sporting means ... bunch of idiots.

DDTC seems to believe that Military caliber rifles (but not pistols) have no sporting purposes.
Depending on how you word the DSP-83 application for "Dual Use" items seem to depend on if they decide that they accept your permit or not.

All of our KAC items are export controlled, however One Shot Tactical seem to have explained the sporting side of the dual use for his recent orders to the satification of DDTC.

That said these days the 7.62mm and 5.56mm issue seems to be driving the stupid train.
