Lyman 1200DPS 3 Question

Well the wifey got me a the new lyman DPS for fathers day and I already have a question about it. I plugged it in and gave it the 24hr warm up that it requires, calibrated it, and when I try to measure (example) 27grns of powder it seems to go over by 0.8-1.2 grns. How do I get it to be more accurate than that??? has anyone else had this problem? could it be static causing the problem? I've tried everything that it suggests for trouble shooting and Have came up negetive for results.
Any help or suggestions are very welcome.

What powder are you trying? Some powders require you to use the reducer plug in the feed tube to reduce overruns.

I've tried varget,IMR 4350,IMR4064

The first time I used mine it threw a few off the setting, discovered that when the furnace fan kicked in it was affecting the reading, closed the vent which is right over my bench, no more problems

I solved the problem by putting the restricter in the end of the spout. It appears it was spitting to much out at a time.
