Hi,

Just going through some stuff and I'm having problems ID'ing a mould that I bought years ago at a local show.

It looks exactly like a typical Lyman single-cavity Foster hollow-based mould in a Orange box, but with no lables or any paperwork, with someone writing "12ga" in black marker on the box. The mould is clean and may even be unused.

One side if the block is marked as follows:

LYMAN
12 DX
CO 47C

The "C" in 47C is not that clearly stamped, so it may not be a letter C. Also, it looks like it was lightly "kissed" with a die grinder (under?) the lettering. The same number is stamped on the other side, with the same little "buff" mark like on this side

So, what's the casting weight do ya think (475gr?). This is unlike any Lyman 12 gauge moulds that I'm comparing it to on-line.

Can anyone shine some light on this? Is it a discontinued model or special order mould? Value or cost?

Thanks in advance. Not interested in selling (yet).
