Lyman Power Case Trimmer - how noisy?

I'm getting a bit tired of trimming cases by hand and I'm looking around at other means. The Lyman power case trimmer looks nice, but how noisy is the motor? I don't want to annoy the neighbors too much with loud motor noises.
 
i own a lyman universal power trimmer and love the cutter. it is not loud at all and trims very good. have some extra cutter blades on hand as they get dull if you trim very much.
 
So are we talking cordless screwdriver type loud or barely audible loud or hand drill loud or what?
 
It is a different sound than a hand drill but about the same for the noise level, I bought the optional carbide cutter for mine and it seems to be a good investment. I went through a few regular cutters with my previous Lyman hand crank model and figured I might as well upgrade right away, though the carbide cutter was not cheap.
 
Is it very heavy? I don't have a place to permanently mount it.
 
I tried out Silverback's trimmer and was so impressed I bought one on Easter weekend.I didnt find his very noisy, but when I turned mine on it scared the crap out of me. The little fan inside was hitting the motor guard. A little adjustment and all is now quiet. By the way, Silverback is a very bad influence on me!!!..........Ken
 
Hmmm. Sounds like the power trimmer could save me a lot of sore fingers. Guess I'll have to start saving up for one.
