lyman press and lee stand???

Remember the the Lee Metal plate uses Carriages bolts to hold the press.
Means you would need to square up the holes for the carriage bolts, or drill new holes through the base of the press to line up with the existing square holes on the plate.
I tried the wooden plate and that was UTTERLY useless on re-sizing, and especially reforming brass to another caliber with a Hornady LNL single stage press, whose two existing holes do not line up with the existing holes on the metal plate. Wood cracked on first attempt to make 6.5x58 Portuguese from 8x57 and on second attempt with JB Weld epoxy reinforced wood.

Whenever I have the time, and patience, I'll try drilling and filing the holes in the plate for the Hornady Press.

I'm also hoping one particular afterrmarket fabrication company comes through with an agreement with Lee to make Custom Lee stand Plates for other companies presses. I will not hold my breath though.

Finally drilled and squared the two holes for my Hornady LNL Single Stage.
Finished hand filing the holes square in about an hour and a half with squiare and triangular jewellers/hobby files.
Not as bad as I thought.
We give it a workout in a few days.

The Lee stand is actually pretty tough...
I direct mounted my 650 to the top of it, hung a cinder block off the bottom and keep a flat or two of trap shells on the lower shelf... Pretty solid :)

I'll modify a Lee metal plate for my LNL Progressive once I see how the LNL single stage works out. I have a few other presses to worry about too.

A very decided maybe. Years ago, some of Lyman's kit used very different thread diameters from the rest of the world.
"...wooden plate..." One inch particle board snaps on the first use too. A 1/4" mild steel plate fixed the whole problem.
