Yet another 'new to reloading' post. Anyone have experience with this press/kit. It seems to include everything that I'd ever need to reload. The kit retails for about $450 which seems to be pretty fair for what you get in it. It'll be my first reloading press used to load some rifle and possibly some handgun. It's a shade over twice the price of a lee turret loader and way more than a single stage kit but I'm guessing it might be easier to load a larger amount of ammo (for the sks and perhaps handgun).

• Choice of T-Mag II or Crusher II Press
• Universal Trimmer with Expanded Pilot Multi-pack
• Pro 500 Reloading Scale
• #55 Powder Measure
• Universal Priming Arm
• Primer Tray
• Auto Primer Feed
• Extra Decapping Pins
• 48th Edition Reloading Handbook
• Primer Catcher
• Deburring Tool
• Powder Funnel
• Quick Release Turret System (T-Mag Press only)
• Case Lube Kit
• 7/8" x 14 Adapter
(mounts #55 powder measure in press turret)

I have the kit for the past 5 years, and love it!!! Including the kit, I also purchased a caliper, bullet puller and a powder trickler.

I'm only recently adding an electronic trickler to the kit to speed things up.

You won't regret the kit...good price and good quality components.

I bought the T-Mag II Kit back in 2002 and have loaded many thousands of rounds with it. Although it probably wasn't necessary over the time since then I seem to have purchase many other little bits and pieces to further my reloading activities.

I find this press to be kind of a compromise. If I were to reload rifle cartridges only I think a single stage press might be better. Now that i reload pistol cartidges as well I use the turret to be a little more efficient but wish I had a progressive press....

Anyway, I can't imagine you're ever regret buyoing this kit.

Sounds like a good set of gear. I'm assuming it would make a pretty good first press then. Loading would be some milsurp calibers, sks ammo, and eventually pistol and it seems like a turret press will be most versatile for those needs.

Thanks guys.

Mine broke

I have had the kit for 15 years. The only problem I had was the turret snapped off of the press. I removed and retapped the main bolt hole and converted it to a non rotating turret. It works well but I was dissapointed in no longer having the option to spin variuos dies in place. As for the other pieces they are fine and working well.
