Lyman turbo tumblers

i just started up my lyman turbo tumblers using the ceramic? media it came with is this stuff supposed to be used wet or dry? i ran some .223 though it and it made them shiny after around 3 hours.... seems to be a good product so far for only $79

Should be crushed walnuts shells. Use it dry. Mind you, some shooters put a bit of brass polish(avoid Brasso. It has ammonia in it. Ammonia eats brass.) in too. It's not necessary. Brass needs to be clean, not shiney.
