Opinions needed.
I purchased a Lyman Alaskan from vintage gun scopes a few weeks ago. I was thinking it might be nice to get the one below too.
Just wondering if anyone has experience comparing these old scopes mounted to a Remington M1903a4

Thank in advance.

Just be careful of misrepresentations.
There's a lot of misinformation on the 330 as an issued sniper scope. IIRC, the U.S. Property marked scopes would be the only provenance as a true sniper.
Nick Stroebel in his old scopes book said the military "issued" version actually had a different model#.

Personally, as a shooter, a Weaver as old as a 330 is quite a gamble.

I think your Alaskan is better glass....

An Alaskan is a better scope than a 330.
I have a commercial 330 on a faux A4 I made up starting with a badly sported 03A3. It works, but is a pretty basic scope.
