Lynx Rifles

Anyone here familiar with these rifles:

I have read everything about them I could find but would like a first hand account. The straight pull back bolt is kind of intriguing.

I don't know anything about them, but I really like the looks of that model 94 target, in 6.5x55 no less.

I was hoping someone here may have had the prices. I just fired off an email to Viking Arms in Ireland requesting the price list. Hopefully they'll respond soon. I'll keep you posted. There's more info at lynxrifles.com for those interested.

I looked at the German web site. They show a .50 BMG version too! I can't see these rifles being inexpensive; on their site it says "hand made" lots of times.

You're right, they are probably pretty expensive. I was saving for another black rifle (XCR) but WTH, I already have 5 others and could use another hunter either .308 or 30-06. If the price landed here is close to that of an XCR I think I'll go for it.

I last swapped emails with them about 2 years ago. They had no Canadian rep, and it seemed too much hassle to take it up.
Thier prices weren't that bad at the time, on par(ish) with Mauser, Steyr etc..
