m-1 rear sight

I want to change my crappy rear sight of my M-305 with a Complete Rear Sight of he M-1 Garand from marstar. Can someone tell me what is the difference between the M-305 and m-1 rear sight (photo would be nice)

The rear sights are the same for the most part, with the exception of Yards on the garand sight VS metres on the M14 sight. Some early Garand rear sights had a different locking mechanism on the windage knob, but the later garand sights look the same.

USGI will have significantly better metalurgy than the Norinco stuff.

I put an M1 sight on mine and it was a huge improvement. Like smgcon said they're in yds instead of metres.
