That is either a G/I.G. 1911 or G/I.G. 96/11 (need to see the stock or the serial number to properly identify). Both are safe for shooting GP11 (aka modern) Swiss ammo.
The only two rifles there is really a possibility to find that can't shoot GP 11 is the G/I.G. 1889 or the K1893. And even then the G/I.G. 1889 was allowed to use GP 11 in case of emergency such as a invasion and no GP 90 was around (still not recommended to be shot with GP 11 the Swiss didn't do it as there never was a invasion and it is potentially very unsafe). The argument could also be made for a K1893 to shoot GP 11 as well (I feel they could have easily adapted the K1893 into a K1893/11 but since they hated that rifle I can understand why they didn't), as the action is based on the Steyr M90 action which was successfully adapted to 8x56r which is quite a powerful round. In both cases it is unsafe to shoot GP 11 through them but it is possibly worth having a discussion on the merits of the K1893 action for shooting GP11.
