M-14 Barrels

I was reading the rebarrreling sticky at the top of the page and was wondering where do you buy M-14 barrels in Canada. I emailed Smith Enterprises and other barrel manufactures (Douglas, Kreiger, etc) and they all told me that they cannot ship to Canada.

The only place to get new and/or used barrels is from the U.S. unless you find someone in Canada that is selling them privately.

No businesses in Canada stock M14 barrels to my knowledge.

To order out of the U.S, barrels require a U.S. export permit in order to be legally shipped outside of the U.S. Some companies will not ship to Canada due to the increased paperwork.

The only other source for barrels is GG&FB (girlsgunsandfastbikes here on CGN).

He is out of the country for a while, but left me some of his parts to sell.I have a SAK USGI barrel of his here, but I have to get a price if you are interested.It measures less then one on the throat erosion guage (which is excellent).

Brownell stocks Douglas M1A target barrels. They will ship to Canada. You may still have to do some paperwork, i.e. obtain a Canadian import permit.
