m-14/ m-305 scope choices

anybody have a suggestion for m-305/ m-14? scope? . something that can take the pounding of the action, 1-6 power and and a simple recticle.

I have Bushnell timberlines, various Leupolds an elite 4200 and 6500, a NF, an Aimpoint pro and a Vortex on various M14 platforms, all have worked, none have failed. One of my favourite scopes is the VXR line, not the patrols. Lots of MOA for come upps, red dot with auto off, nice capped turrets, lightweight, best value optic for various platforms, simple reticle. In a multi use platform ( long, mid and CQB ) these are hard to beat

Recommended to me by those who know was a Bushnell Elite Fixed 10x 40. These are actually really great scopes for the money. I picked one up for my Norc M305.

I also spent big on A.R.M.S. scope rings and base. In fact the scope, rings and rail cost more than the rifle, and I'm totally okay with that! No point having stuff that doesn't work when you need it too.
