Hello every one,i am new here, still not able to go to the exchange topic!

Anyway,a few month ago i was looking at the norinco M-305 and was very interrest in it,but wasn't sure about the quality and grouping,in my head, made in China sound strange, and the original rifle sell for 2000$ .

So please help me,any comment on yours?Quality, grouping, craftmanship precision,etc?...

Thanks for your reply.;)

"...the original rifle sell for $2000..." The original rifle is the U.S. Rifle, M-14. Not the M1A. The M1A is a commercial copy too. The price difference comes mostly from how much the factory workies get paid.
You have to ask to get into the exchange forum.

I have put about 600 rds through mine with no issues Im really pleased with it and you cant beat it for the money .I got mine from Marstar $425 deliverd to my door . Of course someone is going to say its not a "real " M14 , but who cares its a nice rifle for the money . as for acuracy im not the best shot in the world but 4 inch group at 100 meters is normal with open sights for me
And you can change lots of parts as time goes by . a lot of people do . but for me its good enough as is . You see a lot of blinged up M14/305 on this forum .
Buy the thing and enjoy

3 things every gunowner should have in their collection:

1) Leupold Knock off 3.5-10x40 LRT scope
2) CZ 858
3) Norinco M14!!!!!!

I see the Norinco M305 as the big boy's version of a 10/22 - leave it stock and be happy or blow $500-$5000 tricking it out to however you want it. I have only been through 6-8 rifles, almost all in different configurations, all unique, and all different shooters. The next one is going to be a shorter scout-type rifle, the one after that I am not sure yet....

Shadow, go to your UserCP and request access to the Equipment Exchange... Or, check with the dealers listed above to see if they have any M14S rifles left...

I've owned 4 M14S rifles, they are worth EVERY PENNY of their 399 asking price!!! I only have one in the gun locker at the moment... There are several modifications that I personally see as required, but others will have a different list...
(1) A new stock, I bought a Boyds' Pepper Laminate
(2) New rear sights, I bought used USGI Garand sights
(3) Stainless steel guide rod

Everything else is gravy...

Cheers
Jay

Ditto...Shadow, definitely get one...or as some of the M14 gurus here would say "get two or your dik will fall off"...I don't know where you are located, but when you get one, try to get to an M14 Clinic held by one of the aforementioned gurus. I did, and I certainly don't regret it. Now go buy one before they are all gone...or buy two! :D

Airborn_69,

I am looking for some optics can you provide more details on that "Leupole kncok off" you mentioned?

I know you made that statement almost two years ago but if its still available in today's market place and how much?

Thx

Just good value for your money, very affordable & they work great.

Yes you are right I'd have to agree...:)

my knockoff leupy is still holding strong, and my m14, well.... can't complain.

They use to be available on ebay, might still be. 1337 tactical use to sell them also, but i believe they are listed as "out of stock" now.

might have luck in the EE, they do pop up once and a while.

Thanks Goose25,

I will check the EE from time to time and see if I can find one the.

It sure looks like a pretty good deal.

Have you notice and fogging / holding zero etc problem with this scope?

I want something decent but then I can't afford a big chuck of money on a scope.

Thx
