m 14 newbie question

im looking at a polytech m14 are they good to shoot out of the box or do i have change the bolt or do any other mods

Good to go out of the box.
Degrease and shoot.

Please read the sticky threads and search threads by Hungry and myself, we have both done extensive reviews.
Most, if not all are safe and reliable to shoot but must be thoroughly degreased and gas system and bolt get NO internal lubrication

Im a bit of a noob myself but...The Chinese made M14s are real a hoot. Read everything you can in the stickies and go for it!!
