m-17 30.06 loads

I ve got a bubba'd M17, it shoots great with federal factory ammo, just wondering if anyone has any successful loads for their M17s that they want to share!

It should work with any decent .30-06 load. All the usual standards should work: 57 grains IMR 4350 with a 165-grain bullet, 50 grains Varget with a 165-grain bullet, 60 grains H831 or Reloder 22 with a 180-grain bullet, 55 grains IMR4350 with a 180-grain bullet, etc.

Just work up from below as usual and consult a reloading manual, looking for the most accurate combination. That's all there is to it.

Try 56 grains of H414 or W760 behind a Speer 165 grain Flatbase. I shot that load out of several 30-06's, including 2 - M17's with great success. Regards, Eagleye.
