OK guys, I want to scope my M-305, however I am on a budget.
I would like to know what you guys are using now, if it works for you and maybe more importantly what has not worked.
Pictures would be great.

I Know "Leupold", I would love to have one but can't afford it right now, I want to scope it right now and start saving for a leupold in the future.

I would especially like to hear from you budget oriented out there, like me.

Thanks

try a bushnell 3200 10 power mildot. around $240 cdn.

A 10 Power scope will not suit me needs as I will be using the scope to hunt Caribou and moose as well as on the range. Sometimes the caribou can be at very close range in thick cover and at other times they can be out on the barrens or lakes requiring relatively long shots.
I need a variable power, should have mentioned that before.

Thanks for the input.

The Bushnell 3200/4200 series are very nice scopes. But the nice thing about an M14 is that if your cheap scope goes bust, you can go the back-up irons. or your back-up scope.
I've got a 3-9x Tasco on mine, and I'm thinking about a 4-16x FITCO

i shoot bushnell 3200 elites on all my big game rifles, 3 years strong on my 338 mag, 7mm mag , 303 brit and now i got one for my m305. I dunno if these should be refered to as "cheap" scopes...... they are however the best bang for your buck for a large caliber rifle scope. I have hunted all over b.c. , from warm humid coastal blacktail hunts to frigid high altitude goat hunts to mud boggin in the poring rain for bull winkle, the elite series has never failed me yet.

I have a Bushnell Banner 4-12 x 40 on my M305. I'm fairly new to this and didn't want to spend a bundle. I got it at Walmart $129.99. So far I like it. I've only used it to hunt paper though.
