About a month ago, I took my trigger apart on my m305. Because it's all parkerized, trigger was way too heavy for my liking! Anyways thanks to u tube, watched a video on how to do it, started with 180 grit on all contact points, finished with 600 grit! Very pleased with results, guessing I got it down to around 3 1/2 pounds at a guess, will report back when I get a trigger gauge on it. Way better feel now and all safety were checked as to not cause a bad situation! Well worth the time, take little off at a time, and test it! One side note: when putting back together, that 2 inch military spring is a b### h to get back in so be careful if your gonna do this! First ever trigger job! Happy happy!:)

If you take m14 trigger down past 4.5 lbs they can be prone to doubling... hopefully you didn't go down too low.

For me i actually start with emery cloth then go down to 2000 grit. Left the norc trigger spring in it but its now a 4.75lb trigger thats as smooth as my armalite national match trigger in my AR
