M&P of course, part of the Ruger line, but the title box won't allow the ampersand.

Got a quick look at one of these, an interesting bullpup pump action design with a quick change switch between two tubular magazines, each has a capacity of 5 shells. A design worthy of a Terminator movie I guess, front mounted rail for your sight(s) of choice but I remain unsure about the length of pull, which I hope is adjustable since I really would not care to have a 12 G going off right beside my ear. MSRP is around $1500 in Canada.

Litterally a rip off of the KSG right down to the clam shell design and over use of fastners from home hardware. Lol

Now S&W have copied the basic design premise of the Sub2000 with the folding carbine as well, although improving it in some ways. Seems S&W likes copying Keltec's coked up 3am homework assignments.

It has been out for a while, hasn't it? www.smith-wesson.com/product/m-p-12

As for copying the KelTec KSG, yes, clearly. And the S&W M&P 12 is heavier, longer, and holds fewer shells.

LOP is not listed the S&W website, but it's over 14" according to several sources. Brutal. But kinda interesting because the S&W FPC (which is a ripoff of the KelTec Sub2000) also has an LOP over 14".

My personal experience with this shotgun

Pros
Make you look like Rambo
Might take out a bunch of zombies before reloading.

Cons
Poor ergonomics,
uncomfortable recoil,
awkward to reload,
overall bad design in my opinion

Does it come with chokes, can you plug the tubes to make it hunting legal? Would be fun to shoot small game with it to trigger the Fudds. Then the novelty would wear off fast, it’s pretty hideous looking. I’m sure the ergos of it leave a lot to be desired.

S&W says it comes with mod and cyl chokes, but I'd check with the retailer. And I think you can plug any tube magazine, no?

Consider the KelTec KSG as a proven alternative. Or the KelTec KS7, which is actually a nice little shotgun that carries very well - Unpleasant to shoot, though, since it's very light and the bullpup design makes the recoil feel even worse.

I ordered one of these at my local shop and my sales guy said I should check out the Breretta 1301 Tactical instead. After seeing the M&P and the 1301 I left the M&P and took the 1301 and have not looked back.

IMHO The M&P felt cheap with way too many plastic pieces.

I held one as well and that was my thoughts. Too many cheap plastic buttons that will break and trying to get parts for anything in canada is a pita
