Any advantage? Or just personal preference?
I don't really care for vertical forward grips but I am always looking to accessorize....lol .

I have the MOE SL handguard and I'm looking at the M-LOK AFG fore grip...

Well personally I prefer any type of grip that I can grasp with my support hand and pull the butt-stock tighter to my shoulder.

It's easier with a forward grip, but you can achieve the same recoil managment with or without it.

I did not think much about vertical grips but after putting one on my WK180C I have to say it puts less stress on my wrist position.

Also allows me to pull the gun into my shoulder and frees up my right hand.

Im putting a vertical grip on my 17" hand guard, Im not a fan of the look but we will see how it goes. Mostly bought it for something to pivot on so I dont have to scratch the piss out of the hand guard.

It comes down to personnal preference. Its a trial and error game that leaves you with a drawer full of grips. Find something that works for you.

I personnaly don't like angled foregrip. I either go with handguard only or magpul RGV used as an hand stop to pull the buttstock in my shoulder.

I'm trying out a Magpul M-loc hand stop kit on my new upper, I like it so far, I think it looks better on an 18" barrel than a vertical grip. I would have tried an angled fore grip, but I like the minimalist look of the hand stop kit. I am still discovering my " game" , but I like the c clamp grip and the hand stop kit gives me a nice hook for my pinkie to grab on to and pull the gun in to my shoulder

Always found grips to be useful. However the M-Lok AFG seems to be a little small for my hands, and I don't even have large hands. But I am a big fan of the AFG2 though, feels and fits real nice. Think I'll buy me the adaptor so I can use the AFG2 on my M-Lok handguards.

For cool looks only you can decide what you find cool.

For ergonomics no one here knows you better than you. Try it. Of you dont like it flip it on the ee.

Interesting... Thanks, I'll look at sizing of them.

I picked up one of these at K-W surplus in their paint-ball/Airsoft section for $29.00; I like it, and the Bipod is great for bench shooting.\
