hello,

It’s my first time using mlok and I was putting a rail onto the m and p 15-22 polymer handgaurd and noticed that when I took the rail off there was some chipping and what seemed like damage from the nut on the rail. Has anyone experienced this before and will this happen every time? If so would it eventually wear out and be useless?

Magpul has some guidelines for installing M LOK on either aluminum, or in your case, polymer - up to and including proper amount of torque for each material. It's possible that the rail you purchased was set up for mounting on an aluminum handguard (i.e. the spacing of the T nut to the rail) - read over their install tips and guidelines, and you can be sure that the rail is properly set up to be used on a polymer handguard.

I think Mlok sucks. Just one more stupid way to attach #### to your rifle you don't need.
