i am leaning towards the m&p due to reviews i have googled and for looks...

any thoughts? personal experience.

yes i am aware it is restricted....

Buy anything BUT an m&p-15...trust me. I bought one 4 months ago, took it to the range and it stovepiped every third round and then went full auto. Sent it to MD Charlton for repair and here it is 4 months later and I still don't have it back. And in the meantime the CFC has prohibitted the magazine so when and if I do get it back I will have to spend more money to buy a black dog mag. I fired 100 rounds after paying 600 bucks and probably would have been better off just throwing my money out the window. Buy something else.

hmm

sounds like a crappy deal for you, on the other hand i bought mine like 8 months ago, i love it, its jammed maybe 5 rounds out of the 5000 ive fired in it, it works awesome, easy to clean since its ar stlye, and its just one of those guns i wouldnt ever get rid of, i love it. appearently you didnt have the same experiance, but i guess there just opinions

I LOVE my MP15-22. I've had no problems. Almost everything about it is identical with an AR except for the forward assist.

The only issue is the idiotic 10-round limit they placed on the mags. Oh well, go buy a 50 round Black Dog drum and make Canada safer

Morden did you get the new extractor installed?

10 rounds? not 25? because it's restricted i guess? and why is it restricted?

its one of those great mysteries we will never have an answer to. someone didnt like the look and poof its restricted, now they think the mags are bad soo poof they are prohib

S&W has 10 round mags for the California market, I'm assuming they'll start shipping them up here, otherwise you can pin the 25-rounders yourself to make them legal.

Got the Ruger SR, works perfectly, looks great, well made...

NON-RESTRICTED!!!!!!!!!!

What more could you want?

There doesn't seem to be a question as far as I'm concerned.

So... does the drum mag fit the pistol as well? If so...
I think you can see where I am going with that.
