I have an M&P 22 ... and yes I have had the FTE problem as many others have with this model.
While at the range a friend and I got looking at the gun while cycling the slide and noticed that the ejection deflector (small silver part that sticks up inside when you open the slide) was rubbing, in fact catching a bit on the block when the slide closed. I bent it slightly inward (I said slightly, like maybe 0.5mm) and also siliconed it and the block channel ... not one fte after that.
I shot three types of ammo to test ... American Eagle, Federal and CCI MiniMags ... worked fine with all three ... so far anyways ...
Just thought I'd share my experience ... do this at your own risk, I take no responsibility if you break something ...
