Nope, My PPQ M2 IN 40 S&W eats anything.
Between those two, PPQ no contest. The stock trigger on the M&P is terrible. Sure the PPQ is more expensive stock but you have to factor in the Apex trigger and whatnot on the M&P.
Tried an M&P9 last weekend and alternating between that and my HK SFP9, the first time I tried the M&P it had me wondering if the trigger was dead, it's that mushy.
You could try the H&K, you might like it.

i have a mp40 and the ppq m2 in 9mm and if you put a apex kit in the mp40 and work the trigger a bit . hands down i like the mp40 better . yes the ppq trigger is better out of the box but like i say personally the MP40 feels more like a real pistol and the ppq feels like a light kids toy . just my opinion
