I’m not much of a pistol guy so go easy on me. I hope I call everything by the right names.
I just installed a Apex Forward Set Sear trigger in my M&P9 and I’m having issues with the initial take up of the trigger pull.
What is happening is when the nub on the trigger bar pushes on the striker block it has trouble riding up on top of it. It takes a few pounds of pull to get the trigger bar over the striker block.
Visually the Apex striker block is more square on the top edge where the trigger bar slides over it and it also sticks out more. With the stock striker block the first bit of trigger pull is much smoother.
Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?
Thanks.
