M&P22 2000 rounds later...

Its a nice gun, I like mine. I tried the win 333 packs and they were terrible, about 30% wouldn't cycle the slide.
I mainly use the federal 525 packs, no problems if I keep the gun clean. I start geting ftf's after about 80 rounds of federal , then I need to spray the gun slightly.

I am amazed that you were able to fire so many rounds without cleaning it. I will have to try some American eagle and CCI to see if theres a difference.

You mentioned recalled M-22. I thought the issue with the recall was double charges not reliability. Your gun, but if there is a recall and you use the ammo anyways, not sure if that's prudent.

Certainly, but in a blowback pistol a ruptured case is the more likely failure. Not life threatening but not pleasant either.

Interesting report. My experience is the exact opposite of your's. lol. Federal bulk is generally reliable while Win white box bulk ammo usually has the odd FTE associated with it.

Have you tried CCI Mini Mags through it yet? They were fairly accurate in my MP-22. I tried a small amount of CCI Stingers and they put on an impressive flame show with accuracy not as good as the Mini Mags.

The premium CCI stuff is fun to shoot but way too expensive for my tastes for a semi-auto pistol. You can burn through a ton of money in a hurry if you get addicted to it.
