Hi all,
Picked up an M&P 22 to train with (M&P9 being my main pistol). All was well for the first 300 rounds or so, then it developed what I'm gonna call a "sticky" slide. Out at the range, it would not cycle at all.
Once home I cleaned and re-oiled it. If you ease the slide forward, it seems to hang up about 2/3 of the way back. If you release it fully from all the way back (sorry for the sloppy terminology), it will return fully, but I am a bit scared to shoot it any more until I figure out why it is catching.
Once stuck, it takes a very minimal amount of force (literally a slight graze of the finger will release it), but still very concerning, especially for a brand new gun.
Can anyone help? Is this a warranty issue?
