M&P40 reloads

Just wondering what you guys who have M&P's are using for cheap reloads. Do these S&W's like lead bullets at all?

I shot lots of lead rounds in my M&P9 with no issues if that helps you at all...

For cheap loads I buy BDX/Combat Masters. works great.

cast lead @ 175gr swc/tc w 231@ 4.2 grains Unique@ 5.0 grains. Good plinking rounds for the range. Managable recoil, good accuracy. The MnP 40 loves em.

i have fired many thousands of lead reloads through my m&p40. For a factory duplicate load i use a 180 grn lead tc bullet at 1.125" coal with 5.9 of power pistol and for an idpa/odpl load i use the same bullet and coal with 3.0 of clays - very soft and accurate

i just went through 300 hundred of the wolf lead reloaded stuff in my m&p 40 and it shot great

I've used the Lee mold for the 175 grain truncated cone and size at .401". No feed problems, and accuracy good enough for A zone hits during action shooting. For plated bullets I use 180 grain Frontiers with similar results. Best accuracy was with 150 grain Nosler Sportsman, but they have a very flat base which requires more mouth flare to not crumple the case, and they were the priciest. I use Lee dies for this caliber and have found it works great.
