I tried to install my m pod today but the screws bottom out before the tslot rail adapter is tight to the mloc rail. Ill try and explain whats happening.

The threads on the screws end slightly before the head of the screw.
The threadless portion of the screw meets the threaded hole of the mloc rail before the tslot is tight.
I'm thinking of getting a couple washers and putting them between the tslot and m loc rail.

I want to use this rig for 1000m plus target shooting and I'm don't know enough about the physics of this all to know if the washer idea is a good fix or not.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I would shorten the screws, personally. - dan

From what he describes I dont know if that would help unless you swap the screws for another type (fully threaded) - sounds like he is running out of threads before the adaptor is tight as the shank on the screw isn't fully threaded - maybe thats what you meant?.

I would swap the screws for a fully threaded shank type or your idea of using washers as spacers could work too.

If that's the case, you are correct. - dan

You should be able to find the appropriate screws at your local Canadian Tire. Or use the washers. Either one should get you ready to go.
