ok i got this new to me carbine in excellent shape, i went to the range and what a load of fun :D very nice to shoot and acurate too at 50 M its really one of the funiest gun i own. BUT... i had 3 mags and every 10 to 12 shot when pressing the triger it just when click. opening the action shows that no round is in the chamber. racking the gun will feed and it will work for an other 10 rounds or so.

SO how do i fix the feeding issues

make sure the gas piston moves freely tip the UNLOADED rifle up and down the piston should move freely

mags try new ones

trigger houseing make sure mags are seated properly

bolt check bottom of bolt for wear I had a bolt that was worn so it would sometimes ride over the round instead of picking it up

If your carbine is firing 9 rounds or so before a FTF I doubt that it's a piston problem, worth checking though. I suggest marking your mags with a number on a piece of masking tape and firing again. Once you find a mag that functions properly measure the feed lips with a caliper and adjust the other to the same measurement. Sounds to me like the front edge needs to be opened up just a "little". This may help if you are using factory ammo as opposed to reloads. Could also be a lube problem, a "little" grease and oil goes a long way with a carbine.
