M1 carbine jamming HELP

I put a scope mount on it now it jams.Seems the brass is hitting the scope mount and being tossed back into the action.How can I fix it.I really want a red dot on it.

dont scope it

simple

the m1 carbine .30 carbine rnd is a short range rnd no need for a scope

I shoot mine32 and counting out to 100 rnds iron sights most of them still have the non-adjustable flip up rear sight


remember the m1 ejects up and right thats a prob with the scope

ive got a m3 (t3) carbine with the vampire NV scope it feed and ejected with no problems its buried WAY back in the room if i get to it ill get some pics of the mount setup

You can do a scout mount type deal with a handguard rail.

That should work out pretty well with a red dot.

It's under $100 and not a major component so you should be good to go ordering it directly from them unless they have any silly internal policies about shipping stuff up to us.

"...now it jams..." No it doesn't. If you insist on scoping a rifle that was never intended to have one, use higher mounts.
