Is there a law out there that states that M1 Carbine mags are to be pinned to 4 rds or is the normal 5 rds good to go? I got one like that when I bought my M1 Carbine.

Is it normal to ship mags unpinned?

5 rnds and you CANNOT have a unpinned magazine (5rnds rifle 10 rnds pistol mags) as its a prohibited device

5rds is what I thought ... but I didn't know if there was some kind of rediculous phantom law for 'only' '4' 'rds' 'for' 'an' 'M1 Carbine'.

Mags are limited to 5 rds now.
