M1 Carbine Rear Sight?

Good day,

Just purchased an Erma M1 Carbine .22 and it came with this rear sight.

Wondering if it's off a real M1, and any suggestions on where I can find a front sight. (Just looking for something cheap but looks like a proper M1 Carbine front sight)

yup thats the proper adjustable m1 carbine sight, there is a 2 position sight too from early rifles
