Any idea what the typical value is, in good shape? It's about 15 years old, don't know yet who made it, asking for a friend. :confused:
Will post more info when I get it, just looking for a generic figure, i know it can't be priced accurately with what I've said... to put it another way, is it worth anything at all if good condition, and give or take 100-200% any idea how much?

Zero. Cause you can't sell or give replica away. It's against the law to do so.
 
If it is 15 yrs old, it would probably be one of those highly detailed 1:1 Japanese blow back action replica cap gun.
 
Well, I just called the guy and told him about this, it's a Universal m1 carbine, a firearm so it's a false alarm. Sorry, I was half asleep when he called, and when he said replica I didn't clarify what he meant. He says it functions well, so does anyone have a serial number range where I can check if it's one of the better, older universals or one of the newer junk ones? I might buy it myself to stick a longer barrel on it if possible...

I'm going to go look at it this morning, any idea on values if older universal, also if newer?

I saw one going for 350 I think in the EE a while ago, and a USGI for 450 I think...

universals are not that great, older ones do take USGI parts, newer ones are just crap. restricted, probably be lucky to get $200-$250, throw a non-res barrel on it and some fool will pay $450-$500 for it.
 
Went to look at it, it is the newer, crap version, don't want to bother with it myself, told him I'd mention it to another buddy. Oh well...
