Ok, did a search and didnt find anything.
I am thinking out loud here and haven't fully checked this through yet, so opinions would be welcome.
I have a couple spare M1 carbine rear sights and was thinking of modding one to put on a 10/22. What i was thinking of doing is modding a readily available scope mount base and modding the rear sight to fit on top of the base. If possible, I would then install see through rings so i can use the sight and also have a scope for the rifle at the same time.
What does everyone think? What would my distance need to be from the top of the reciever to the centre of the aperture?
Thanks
