Hey everyone!

We have received a nicely sized shipment of M1 Garand-safe .30-06 Springfield match grade ammunition for the summer months and we're here to give CGN a crack at it first!

Hornady M1 Garand 168gr A-MAX Match - 100 Round Pack

Formulated specifically for the M1 Garand rifle, Hornady's new M1 Garand Match load was built to be safe and smooth in the old warhorse rifle and shoot exceptionally accurately. These cartridges are safe thanks to a gentle burn rate and moderate projectile weight, and the A-MAX bullet needs no introduction as an extremely accurate long range performer.

Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr Sierra MatchKing - 100 Round Pack

Federal's Gold Medal Match line has been the go-to standard for commercial performance ammunition for law enforcement and competitive shooters for decades. Their 168gr Sierra MatchKing load uses medium burn rate powders for a steady gas impulse that proves safe for the veteran milsurp Garand actions out there. With exacting controls for consistency, Federal's Gold Medal Match .30-06 was built for match-winning accuracy.

These are shipped in packs of 100 Rounds (5 boxes of 20 rounds each) and are shipped by hazmat-accepting courier for a flat rate $20 coast to coast! If you have a Garand, especially a Garand with a crisp bore, you should definitely take it out for a spin with some quality match grade loads designed for your rifle while supplies last!

Cheers,
Daniel

Don't get me wrong, I'd love it, because my garand is a nicely preserved 1950 production. But that is wicked expensive. I'm sure it's because it's match grade right? But any chance of some GI style garand ammo coming? I don't compete with it, so it'd be wasted on me. And the coyotes wouldn't really appreciate the difference.

Better brass, primers and bullets. Now if you reload many people use them as a benchmark to see if they can get the same results most people can't make it better just the same..

Really?!? They use as a benchmark?!? You have how much experience reloading??? 168's, CCI's and 4895, 4064 and some others will give you great results for better than half the cost advertised. Not a great deal. Now $199 for 500....that'd be different!
