M1 Garand Canadian parts source.

I recently became the proud owner on a IHC Garand receiver. So now I am looking for parts and whatnot. Besides marstar, what is the best source for parts sales within Canada? Anybody who has experience buying parts outside of Canada, please feel free to chime in.
 
Keep an eye on the EE. Not to many businesses in Canada have parts left other then Marstar (unless there is a secret hoarder out there) Pocketfisherman has parts every so often. He puts them on the Equipment Exchange. You do have access right?I also use E-bay
 
With a receiver you have one of the cheapest part of a rifle project. Figure another $1000 or so for all the other parts in a servicable condition plus costs to fit a barrel. New stocks are available from Boyds. The EE and ebay are always good places to start. Cdn retail sources for good parts have pretty much dried up.
 
John R has sold Garand parts on the EE too. Bought a rear sight locking bar and gas tube assembly from him. Best to post a WTB in the milsurps parts forum.

No problem if it was 1994-2001 for Garand parts. Just over 10 years late.
Lots of Garands were stripped down as parts kits to the US.
