I'm planning to have a table at the Woodstock Gun Show on Sunday, the 26th of March. I'll have a few things for sale, some of my Garands on display, and will be doing a sort of mini clinic on how to strip the Garand down to the bones, if anyone wants to stop by. This is mainly for those of you out there, that are a little leary about taking to old girl apart. I'm no expert, but I do have my Small Arms Instr Crse under my belt, and may be able answer some of your questions. I'm not a real big collector either, but I just like the M1 Garand for some reason..... :D

Cheers
Dean

For those of you that can make it, Dean's mini-clinic on the M1 is worth the trip. I learned a lot and I even took my own M1D along, for him to show me how to clean up a bolt full of cosmo, to the point that it wasn't floating freely. Can you say "slam fire" !!!

Once it was cleaned out, no more problems.... :D

Regards,
Badger

Can't remember the M1 being on my Small Instructors Course, are you talking about the Military Course?

Yes, I'm talking about the one in Gag-town, and did you have your heels together when you asked me that question??? ;)

PS: I also collected early Enfields for about 8 years, so I can always help with the ones that were pre WWII. I will have a sheet load of enfield parts for sale at the show, as well.
