Hello, I am new to Canadian Gun Nutz and was wondering if the M7/M7A1 grenade launching attachment for the Garand was legal in Canada.I have seen these for sale on the numrich gun parts website with a dummy grenade(rubber) Also, is there anywhere in Ontario or Canada where i could get one of these? (gunshow, etc) Thanks! oops, I meant m7 in the topic!

AFAIK grenade launchers and dummy grenades are not controlled/illegal at the present time. But wait for it because some eager beaver bureaucrat will no doubt get a rush of blood to the head some day and run this up the pole for his/her next promotion. Potato cannons might be next.;)

The launcher itself is a controlled item as per CGD (a bit of a shadow organisation that has massive powers, on a slow day). Same with the "grenade". Nothing wrong with either of them as per Canadian "law", "regulations" are another matter however.

"...dummy grenade(rubber)..." Inert training rifle grenades aren't rubber. They're steel. Multiple types of training grenades too.
The trick is finding .30-06 blanks. There are 2 kinds of blank. Training blanks and grenade cartridges. Difference is how far the training grenade goes. Training blanks launch 'em about 50 yards. Great fun. Safety first, of course.
Grenade cartridges are collector's cartridges these days.
The gun shows would be your best bet for finding one.
"...launcher itself is a controlled item..." Nope. Just an accessory.

Hell potato cannons are a hell of a lot more dangerous than guns haha, given their home made nature, wide range in design, quality of materials, etc.
