I've bought 4 of the PS offerings,2 HRAs and 2 IHCs. Generally they are in inferior cosmetic condition with worn metal finish, beat up stocks, cracked handgds, minor surface rust and a fair accumulation of dirt and crud in the internals. On the plus side, the rifles appear not to have been fired that much as the bores are sound and un-pitted with satisfactory wear gauge readings at throats and muzzles. Also,op rod pistons and gas cylinders remain within spec-altho finish is well gone on gas cylinders and gas plugs. Also, there is a fair representation of original manufacturer's components, altho some things like trigger groups, stocks, and op rods are mostly mis-matched.I've had to replace all op rod springs(SOP on a well used Garand anyway),a broken safety, one stock which was cracked beyond repair,a cracked gas plug,2 sight covers, and a number of other small parts. Not sure of where they came from, but they appear to have been used/stored in a dry climate as there is virtually no pitting in spite of a general lack of lube and preservatives. From the sound barrel condition and scuzzy exterior finish I think they were probably carried and handled more than they were fired. If you are able to re-park the metal and re-finish/repair the stocks they work out just fine.
