Just bought an M1 Garand but cant find any ammo, anybody no for some bulk surplus? Please No comments about reloading, I just don't have the time required to do so. I like to buy bulk of 500 - 1000 rds at a time. Anywhere in Canada? Otherwise I'll be selling the rifle.

Get an adjustable gas plug. You then be able to shoot any factory 30-06 ammunition.

I shoot myself the federal blue box 150sp with succes.
You could also fin american eagle m1 ammunition. Hornady make also m1 specific ammo.

Surplus 30 cal ammo is rare as politician honesty.

Holy Crap! Didn't Realize when I bought this gun ammo would be so expensive, Anybody interested in an M1 garand w/Laminate stock? I paid 900.00 for it.

someone will snap that up for sure.

surplus ball is hard to come by, and commands a premium when you do.
It's a shame you can't reload - the loads are easy to replicate, and you need only a few basic items to get start for just 1 caliber.
feeding my garand is the reason I expanded my reloading set up.

The adjustable gas plug is the best way to enjoy your rifle without selling it. best $ you will ever spend for it. 30-06 isn't cheap, but once you hear that "ping" it's addictive.
